It is very important that contact lenses are cared for correctly. Hygiene is an imperative step in the care of your lenses.$0$0$0$0Cleaning & Storing$0$0$0Wash your hands thoroughly with soap so you don’t transfer any dirt or germs to the eye or contact lens. $0$0Dry your hands using a lint free towel $0$0Do not touch anything before handling contact lenses as you may contaminate your hands requiring you to re-wash them. $0$0Use a sterile contact lens - solution as recommended to you by your Optometrist. $0$0Some solutions require a thorough rinsing to clean your contacts; where as others require you rub the contact lens. To do this remove one of your lenses and place it in the palm of one hand. Apply a few drops of solution on the lens and using the middle finger of your other hand; gently rub each side for approximately 15 seconds. (Always read the instructions on your solution for specific manufacturers directions) $0$0Rinse the lens with more solution and place in your clean case. Fill your case with solution until the lens is submerged completely. Repeat for the other eye. $0$0Always check the manufacturers’ recommendation for the expiry of your solution once open as most need to be thrown out after one month. $0$0Clean and disinfect your case every week and replace it every month. $0$0Always insert contact lenses before applying makeup $0$0Always remove contact lenses before removing makeup$0$0$0$0
